Missing file

I have installed the Fox Four Program and when I started the first mission it said that I had a error Of missing inf_broadleaf_Tree. Where can I get this File? Thanks JP

I think that it is the stock tree. Delete the filelist.dat file from the SCENEDB/inf/scenery folder. Then re run the sim. Don't worry CFS2 will make a new flielist.dat. See if that helps.

If not then the DP file in the object_dp could be missing.

lets us know how it goes.

Blood-Hawk23,

It isn't. While it is in the inf.bgl that comes with the stock game, the .dp file and texture are MIA from the game.

John,

Here are the missing files. You should know where they go.

The inf_broadleaf_tree.bmp is in the CFS2 SCENEDB\inf\texture folder. The DP is missing.

:dizzy:I had this problem once before. The file inf_broadleaf_tree.
I have six installs of cfs2.
The one that I am having problem with is CFS2 Korea.
I have check the info file and the inf_broadleaf_tree is there.
I have checked the inf. texture and the file is there also.
I checked the mdlnames file and inf_broadleaf_tree is there to.
Can anyone help me to get this corrected?

I am lost at this moment, Please.:wavey:
Thanks, JP

Hi John;

I think you're talking about Lindsay Watt's stuff, aren't you? There are two different tree packages. If you check on Maskrider's site I think you'll find them. I had the same problem and if I recall, that was what it was. I installed them both. I don't think I added the second package to the mdlenames file, though. You really don't need to unless you're going to do some mission building.

I hope this doesn't confuse you. I'm going back a few months here and my memory ain't the best. Take a look and perhaps wait for somebody else to weigh in on this before you proceed.

Cheers;

inf_broadleaf_tree is a stock tree that always seem to be a prob. Check the OBJECTS_DP to make sure you have the needed inf_broadleaf_tree.dp

John,

I have no idea. I have it in every single one of my installs and it works fine.

John,

That's always the last thing you want to do. Try going back and troubleshooting things to make sure that you put everything where you supposed to be.

I already tried that a couple of times, so I am going to reinstall it anyways.
Thanks, again Rami.
