Hi all.

Have anyone loaded up the new cfs2 library I created, and does it make a diffrence, enjoyed the project, more to come, been a great learning curve.

If you noticed there is a slightly diffrent layout in the magazine, hoping the magazine will improve in the future, it was well worth going to collage and learning new things.

Dont forget it is your magazine and letters etc will be more than welcome.

Robert John,

I have not tried them yet, but I will try to get to them in the next day or two. My engineers have been pretty busy lately along the Loire River, and in North-Central France. :very_drunk:

Many thanks for all of your efforts, I look forward to getting back into the DamBusters project over the summer.

I went looking for it but cannot for the life of me find any normal or easy to understand way to search the library..... like creator name...or name of file?

can you post a link please? thanks.

Hey RJ

You are talking about the ones in your mag correct. I don't think they have been uploaded. If you'd like I can do it for you.

OK i will do there maybe he will share them in a pack with the library here so they can be in a central location. Thanks and thanks for making things for us Rober John much appreciated.

For Allen, Blood_Hawk23, and Robert John...

Good evening,

To use Peter Griffin's words..."Shalom, hebrews and shebrews!"

I wanted to pass along some testing results...and we'll go from there.

1) Robert John, your new library objects are much more detailed, very FPS friendly, and they blow up real nice. Well done!

2) Allen, your multi-lod viaduct is also exceptional, and easy to place as well. Very important when you're trying to lay them down in Mission Builder. You can issues with Canion's objects, sometimes, with that issue.

3) Blood_Hawk23 - I like the detail on your Tallboy, Grand Slam, and "cookie" bomb models. I used the .dp file you PMed me for the Lancaster, and while I don't have any issues with bomb selection, the only bomb that actually "drops" is the Upkeep Mine. The other bombs just "vanish" when you release them. No dropping, no sound. They just completely pull a David Copperfield!

RJ,

Forgive me, but I need to withdraw my previous statement. With the new library.bgl, there are some problems.

Despite the fact that the files are there, CFS2 cannot find some CFS1 objects in GSL scenery, such as br_radar and hanger_0. I do not have such issues with the stock library.bgl from a stock installation.

Hi to all that want to use the new library I created, you will need both bgl files "old_scenery_cfs_library" and the"scenery_cfs_library".The "old_scenery_cfs_library" are objects I have not done "scenery_cfs_library" are objects that have been remodeled, sorry for not explaining how to install the bgl's.

RJ,

Indeed! That would fully explain the problems I've been having. Thank you!
