A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Skins - Japanese

Description: N1K1-J George repaint by UncleTgt

This is a simple repaint of Yashico's N1K1-J George for CFS2.

The aircraft is from 201ku, Philipinnes OCT44.

I've tweaked the dp file to change the 20mm cannon trigger to MG (now the AI will engage you), & I've added kelti exhaust effects. The texture includes a kelti prop bitmap.

To install, unzip the download and place your chosen files in the correct folder(s) for the YS2N1K1JaA within the aircraft folder in your CFS2 Main Directory. Back up any originals & replace them with these.

Yashico for the original aircraft. Difficult to find, but a superb little model.

Kelti for inspiring exhaust effects & prop disks.

This is freeware and subject to the usual conditions.

Very nice UT. Unfortunately, while I have a number of Yashico's aircraft, the N1K1 isn't one of them. And now since his web site is history, I don't know where I'll find it. Any suggestions?
 
I'm sure people on here have it - I think I have most of Yashico's stashed away. Are these the ones that need a password?

Update: - I've got them all unzipped on my hard drive if you want them.

Thank you for this repaint, but I have to admit your comment got inside my head yesterday afternoon. I firmly believe that all dentists sit in a dark room late at night watching that scene over and over again, and have it in their back pocket for a patient who really p*sses them off. :very_drunk:

Yes, on the password, and I think I have that. Once, many moons ago, I requested it from Yashico by email. He was kind to answer and provide the password. However, and for reasons I will never remember, I only downloaded his float planes. So if you find you have the N1K1 and will send it to me, I will PM my email.

ki21 Sally small fix

Oops, I've had to update the ki21-I Sally package. I forgot to rename the dp & air file as per my own instructions!:p87:
