Milviz F-4E Phantom II

Hi bone! Thank you very much! But for FB, i don't have an account. I have an account on the Milviz forum. My username's dreaminsight.
That means that i can also fly the phantom to test myself my repaints. Good, and then its compatible, right? The texture is the same of the from the full version?

Cheers:eek:

Well, you don't need a Facebook account to just read the information. You can type Facebook into your search engine, and after the Facebook sight pops up, type Military Visualizations into the search box. Easy. Give it a try.

As to your questions, the model will work in game so you can see your paints, and the exterior is the same as the 'full' model.

Since you're a member, any other questions really should be taken to the Milviz forum, or maybe you can sign up for Facebook. Those are the official sources, and the official people will gladly answer your questions.

;)

I've downloaded... and I have to say the model is absolutely fantastic... the revised canopy shape just clinches it.

Is there going to be any co-ordination of paints to save duplication of effort? The only one I think I will get round to doing (although I cant make any promises because I have several of my own modelling projects in progress that must take priority) is this...

mainly because I have some original decal art I created for a Phantom project that I was working on, but which is now on ice. I don't suppose anyone knows the build number for this aircraft and the crew names...otherwise may have to make something up.

You guys can still email me for forum access and password resets. I check at least once a day so your accounts will be taken care of within 24 hours of receipt. :ernaehrung004: Just as another reminder you do not need to purchase anything to get a forum account. Just email me with the username you would like to use, and that way can get it set up on the first go round.

One of my personal favourites! :applause:

Ok I think I'm going to have to let someone else have a go at that VF84 Jolly rogers paint. The Milviz PSDs where created in a much newer version of Photoshop than I have and opening them damages the layers. If anyone wants to have a go pm me with your email and I will supply a layered PSD with the VF-84 decal art I created... please state here first that is what you are going to do so others know its being covered.

Matt - I'd like to take a swing at it. However, this is first 'comprehensive' repaint attempt so I may crash and burn. It wouldn't hurt if someone else too a swing at it as well. Check you PM.

Brian... You should soon have the artwork soon... hope goes well. If anyone else wants to have a go they can let me know.

Mirege3, YoYo above have posted a link to the limitations to this model and its use as posted by Milviz in their FB page. It was accessible to anyone with no need to have FB account. I am repeating them here for your convenience. Check out No4:
---------------------
Several caveats:
1) any repaint that is done prior to release using this paint kit or the model... is subject to our inclusion in the release package. We may (or may not) ask for your permission to do so but, either way, we will include your name(s) in with the release so as to make sure you get credit.
2) you are NOT allowed to charge for these repaints at any time.
3) you are NOT allowed to use the model for anything but repainting.
4) The plane has no gear, no VC and is soundless and flies like a Cessna for the moment.
5) It is NOT optimized nor MP capable.
6) The Paint kit is hard to use if you are not experienced.
7) You must have Photoshop to use it.
8) We have included two base liveries: J and E
9) We have included the dirt layers so that you may have clean or dirty planes. You may also increase the dirt level.
10) We have included the pylon, fuel tanks and napalm tank psd's as well.
11) The F-4J pylon is shaped differently but uses the same psd as the E.
12) The F-4J livery uses an extra PSD (ext_12) that is not used by the E.
13) The model is pretty much complete so there will (probably) be no changes.
14) This is NOT a beta test model. There is NO real functionality.
15) The model has no bumps/normals or speculars applied. (yet)
We will absolutely not respond to any queries about why this and why that...
If you agree and understand all of the above, you may download it here... Note: the file is 540 megs.
-----------------------------------

Hope this clears it for you.

WIP, 50 percent finished ...
