Did RNZAF not participated in WWII??, if yes,why can't one find a single mission or even better a campaign regarding the NZ war-heroes in air??

It was'nt ment as an insult to the kiwi's, but soh's missing interrest in RNZAF, I am very well aware of their brave contribution to fight down the axies.As we did'nt participated in ww2,we had only some few voulontaries flying for -yes RAF. but still over 1000 danish seamen give their lives-yes in the british navy.

I have found through my research that several missions in the "Mosquito Squadron" campaign follow the exploits of the 487 Squadron, which was a RNZAF Squadron based at Methwold, England. Some of the factual missions include the Amiens Prison raid and the raid on Gestapo Headquarters at Aarhus.
 
Danish Aces

Being occupied by German forces from 9th april 1940, we didn't have many chances of making air-aces, but we did in fact have a few. The most well-known was Kaj Birksted, who downed around 20 German planes, though some could not be confirmed as there were no witnesses. But since there were no Danish squadrons the Danes flew with the Norwegian squadron.

The RNZAF played a major role in the march up the Solomons chain flying from Guadalcanal. They flew P-40s as escorts fo the bombers and di ground attacks.Their PBY's did searches,ship attacks and sea rescue missions. Other planes they used were the Dauntless and Avenger. Late in the war they switched to Corsairs but it was to late for them to fly combat missions.

I don't think many in this forum know the role they played in the war effort. That may be the reason for a lack of missions or campaigns for them. The other reason may be there are only a few mission builders for CFS2 and they may not have any interest in doing any RNZAF missions or campaigns.
 
I also have some Kiwis in the TF 57 of the BPF.

I will enhance their mission exposure when I am working on the campaign.

you may want to research it if they aren't. I have some the the RAAF used in Korea and in WWII. and I believe the RAF site I've used covers the RNZAF. I'll look it up and get back to you.

But who will do campaigns with this info? Besides that's just the tip of the iceberg.When I do campaigns I find day to day ops,how many planes were involved and how many were shot down from both sides andwhich ships were involved and exact locations they were sunk.I have also gotten both sides of the action.

...I believe that I can empathize how you feel and how fustrating it must seem to you that many of the great missions here originate with you. I for one tried, but I freely admit that I botched some that I did try to do and now real life personal family committments have reclosed on me and I find that I no longer have any freetime to do anything.
I can research but it is usually late at night if I get insomnniac and cuts my "rest" time.

I started all this as a provocation, to stir the dust, I must admit that it was a great succes, I was newer in doubt of the brave contibution done by the kiwi's, my only hope now, is that the campaign or missionmakers in soh would eventually make something for them in the future.

There are a few of use that could help.
 
No I do'nt whant to do anything,in the years 1947 to 1954 computers and programming was not on the sceme in my scool, not even foreign languages.
So I am happy when I know how to play all the great campaigns allready exscist and to make my self understood in a foreign language, as you can see ,I am 100% selfmade.
