Aircraft Factory Avro 504k now available

If you will approach on some Avro 504 scheme which could be interesting to recreate and there will be enough sources (like: this plane was dark blue, or something, together with some photos), I will try to create it.
Right now I finished Spanish AF skin and I am going to paint some Portuguese. Yoyo is going to create a Polish one. Then, maybe I will paint the Zep hunter skin from one of the Home Defence squadrons. On of the survivors is carrying such one, so it will be easy to to.
Then I may visit South America and paint Chilean, Brazilian and Argentinian schemes. There is also some nice Australian scheme (dark green with white logo AVRO painted on the fuselage), though with different engine, but well...

She could be used as a trainer to teach the student how to operate a float plane before he'd try something bigger. Some could be used for a close recon.
Egypt was under British protectorate until 1922 when the country got independence. But still, the British influences were strong and if I am not wrong, there were still some RAF bases in Nile delta until Egypt created it's own AF in the 30's.

Acutally the coastal command didnt really exist in ww1, it was the navy's responsibility, who used boats/ships/airships and the RNAS (Royal Navy Air Service) used planes. It wasnt till 1918 when all the air services were formed under the "RAF", although the navy kepted a small service and called it the fleet air arm
The jury is out on if it even had one, the original 1918 one thats still flown by the shuttleworth collection doesnt have one, but theres 1 reference were ones been added. So one might be added in the 1.1 patch, as well as a fix for the twitchy pilots and anything else that crops up.

For those interested, here is an alternative blip switch gauge. This is the same file as I've provided before (such as for use with the Classic Wings Camel (which it has since been included with)).
Included are instructions for installing it into the AF Avro 504K. This alternative blip switch functions more closely to that of the real thing, as with the real thing, the blip switch will only stay on as long as you hold the key down, and the engine will 'reignite' as soon as you release the key (so long as the RPM's stay high enough before you release the switch). The function is tied to the primer lever animation, providing the spring-like function to the blip switch. You will need to assign a key to the "Primer (lock)", and set the 'repeat' bar to the far right. I have this function assigned to a key on the top of my joystick, which falls right in the region of my thumb. Adding this will not interfere at all with the stock product's blip switch code.
The amount of use that the blip switch gets is one of the greatest misconceptions about rotary engine operation. The blip switch is only there for use in landing and ground operation, as most all rotary engines, save for a few, have fairly standard throttles. With the real engines, it requires various mixture inputs with any great throttle input, and if you don't get it right, the engine will quit, and you might not be able to get the engine re-started again. The blip switch is provided so that when decreasing speed on landing, the pilot doesn't have to be fiddling with the throttle and mixture positioning on approach, with the risk of losing the engine in doing so. The practice with most rotaries on approach to landing is to throttle down to half-power, and then use the blip switch to control the speed down to landing (this has sometimes been referred to as an art form). You cannot use the blip switch with the engine much above half-power, as you will risk serious damage to the engine.

Its a small and basic scenery that represents the Avro Factory at Hamble. It was used as one of the main production factory's until 1919/1920 when they moved main production to the Manchester site. This is also before the north airfield was built, so theres no point asking where that is as it wasn't built yet
Features full seasonal textures, autogen for the woods and a float plane parking spot by the water.
Works with FTX global + vector and Ian Ps North airfield scenery
