• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

CFS 2 stop working

HEllo Devildog.

I Have install the older Driver ( from October 2014) of my GTX 670.

The same problem. ( Strange on 5th November i have play with no problems with this driver, the newest is from 6 November). I use no beta drivers.

I Install at the moment anti malewarebytes.

Another question: Have you used any programs like CCleaner?

The reason is that CCLeaner and programs like it will delete many files CFS2 needs.

Ja, den CCleaner habe ich drauf.

Oh, dass wusste ich nicht.

Wäre es am besten, den ganzen PC nochmal neu aufzusetzen?

Anti malewarebytes hat ebenfalls nichts gefunden
 
Since Malwarebytes found nothing, I would re-install CFS2 in a new location, perhaps C:\Combat Flight Simulator 2

You will have to "REM" the other locations of your installs before doing the fresh install. I would not uninstall the others.

After installing a new, fresh copy, see if you can start and fly in it.

Also, I have stopped using CCLeaner and uninstalled it. It solved many problems, but also caused several with CFS2.
