Martin Mars end of the year screenshots

SOH-CM-2025
Yeah, it's that time of the year again....

Just thought I'd post a few images of my Martin Mars "Pink Flamingo".....:biggrin-new:

I've used this repaint as a test bed for farting around with alternate aircraft configs, alternate sound configs, effects, etc. over the past few years. This repaint is a visual queue for me so I don't get confused with the default aircraft settings with my other repaints. It has the most in-flight hours of all my other Martin Mars repaints combined.

Love the paint, if you so desired to share it, I'd be there with bells on in the D/L queue.

.....Would you share your modifications,Tommy?....

I'll see if I can get my automated engine smoke effect / smoke gauge up-loaded in January. Nothing eye-popping here, as I was trying at achieve a very minimal / super light smoke effect that only kicked-in at 85% throttle and above. I suspect many won't like / appreciate the super light effect, as some just want a hit you over the head engine smoke effect. Still, I'll upload what I have in January.

My sound sets have never been tested by anyone in the sim community, so I am not sure if they work on other computer set-ups too. That would have to be done first. Besides, I am not sure if Virtavia will allow for the uploading of the modified sound sets, as the new sounds are built upon the default sound files to keep the continuity of the original sound set. I modified the sound set knowing that Virtavia may or may not allow for the release of the sound set. So if they so no, then it's no. I'll resend them the entire modified sound set so that they can make a decision. My sound sets do not use FSX sound cones, as those types of sound sets tend to be too quiet at a distance for my tastes. I wanted something louder and nasty for the Martin Mars.

I'll up-load it in January.......never thought anyone would care enough to download the Pink Flamingo, so I kept it to myself....:biggrin-new:

I just checked my original paint files on that repaint, and they date back to late 2009 for FS9.....that's how long I've been flying that repaint....:dizzy:

Very nice Tommy! If only we could get the vc up to scratch...

Yeah, with Lockheed Martin running the show with P3D, you would think Virtavia could work out a deal for an updated Martin Mars....:santahat:

I think it would be a good fit for P3D.
