Thank you.

... There's a quick start button but that's for those who want to pay 45 dollars to hear a rocket engine

Ok, that was funny... :)

From the posted pics, this plane looks amazing. I just finished a book called "The Smell of Kerosine, a Test Pilot's Odyssey" by this guy Mallick. He was a NASA test pilot during the X-15 days. He didn't get to fly it, but many of his test pilot buddies did, and he has some interesting stories about it. The seat looks small. The part you put your butt on. It looks short, like half a seat. But I Googled for some photos, and that's pretty much what it looks like. Amazing.

The manual is excellent. They even call out known issues with FSX and P3D v.2 before you complain about them. Time to get out the slide rule and calculate the time, speed and distance to Edwards from the drop zone. It's a bit tricky because when you drop, you have to initiate the systems and get the booster ignited. Then wham, you are on for a ride. Booster cut, then the long glide and decent to Edwards.

They added the new installer. From XP webpage:

Now fully compatible with Microsoft® Flight Simulator X: Steam® Edition!

The cockpit of X-15 is very small, so if You take a zoom out for to see for example more instruments You will see big holes (on widescreen monitors). I did a very small modifictaition of pilot view, I think now is a little better and no this holes on the top and the view is on the center now.
You can use it in aircraft.cfg in each model if You like it.

Question for users of X-15 2.0 in FSX (in P3D no this issue).

I have excellent FPS with X-15 2.0 in FSX and P3D but I noticed strange thing. Developer can't duplicate this issue, so its only on my spec? Id like to know :).

After some of testing - I have a problem in VC with X-15 2.0 in FSX if I touch a mouse (the pointer - arrow - of mouse is present on the screen).

If the arrow of mouse is present on the screen and I'm in VC - I receive FPS drop (from stable 36 - blocked - to 22-27 fps only) for this 10-15 seconds. If the arrow of mouse disappears FPS back to normal (stable 36 again). No problems with other addons like this - stable 36 fps with arrow of mouse on the screen.
Hmmm, strange..... So always if I'd like to touch something by mouse in VC in X-15 2.0 FSX to operate something - fps drop:

I checked mouse settings, turn off the shadow and did changes to simply "old" mouse from Win XP, not from Aero Win7 - always the same fps drop in X-15/FSX version, so looks only than problem is connection of VC X-15 2.0 and mouse?
Do You notice the same issue?

Confirmed. ~12 FPS drop when the mouse cursor enters the VC.
