• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

I wish I knew mate. I've had it since day one.. DX9 1440x900 (default for this monitor). Thank goodness I'm now on unlimited BB so I can download it again:biggrin-new:

EDIT: Downloaded and installed again. No security confirmation during the install this time (online to JF e t c). Loaded the sim.. selected the PR9.. popped inside and pink VC!! However.. popped outside again.. popped back in and the pink vc was only there for a very short time. Did it again and have continued cycling views and it's remained solid. Good work chaps;)

You won't have the new file if it still appeared pink. It looks like we are going to have to raise a ticket with our server provider to find out why it is still giving out the old file.
In the meantime you should be able to install the new files using this patch - HERE

I didnt expect the SP2 would come this soon, so I personally dont mind to wait. Take your time. sir :D.

So, all we need to do is run the exe file and it should be OK, am I right? Downloading as I type. Thanks for this.
 
We've found a way around it - rather than trying to sort out the previous upload we've uploaded a new version with a new name and used a new link.
If you download now you should get a new installer called "JF_CanberraPR9_SP2.exe".

I'm off for a lay down...

I don't know where I am now!:biggrin-new:

Was flying what I thought was the SP2 incarnation to Gib and suddenly AppHangB1/fsx.exe/hang sig a1bc/hang type 256/localeID:2057!! Will see what the SP2 link above brings;)

The last file did appear to have 'mostly' eradicated the pink vc but I'm not sure about FSX hanging. No gain without pain:(

Rich, thanks for your superb support, I am on SP2 now :jump: I like the new FDE, I have less troubles now when lining up with the runway for landing.
 
Definitely on SP2 now.. no pink vc:encouragement: However.. due to the long layoff I've had with the Canberra.. I'm going to have to re-read the FM as I can't for the life of me get the AP to hold on all channels:banghead::mixed-smiley-027:

Okay, took the plunge-- fantastic.... Now hoping for a B.2 and/or B/RB-57A! (Again, a EB/B-57B/C/E would be even better, but it ain't British...so I don't see it happening). I just wish the PR.9 had more countries that used it-- for increased repaints....Still, I think you guys should release the paintkit...a Chilean, more RAF, and a few fictitious schemes would be cool.

Again...loving the Cranberry....

You can still buy the Virtavia B2 Kent although it doesn't have anywhere near the same detail as the JF model. It IS a lot older too and comes in FS9/FSX flavours. Best wait until it appears in a sale;)

Yep-- have had the Virtavia/AS B.2 and Flying Stations variants for a few years. Just wondered if JF was contemplating using the same technology on the B.2...doesn't sound like they will anytime soon.
