Default airports

Is it my imagination, or are the default airports (e.g., LaGuardia) much less detailed than those in FSX.?

It all depends on your settings Kelly! More precisely scenery complexity and autogen.

Stock it would be about the same as FSX IMHO. Adding FTX regions, global, landclass and vector helps things quite a bit!

But even stock, some airports are quite a bit more detailed and populated. Edwards AFB for one!

Cheers,

Johan

I hate it when I overlook the obvious! :banghead:
I moved autogen to dense, and lo and behold, there was more detail -- imagine! I had read somewhere that "Normal" settings in P3D are higher than those in FSX, so I left the stock setting.
I did notice that the stock bgls in /Scenery/NAME for New York are different in size: FSX is about double the size as P3D. Wonder what that's about?

I'm afraid I can't help you with the bgl comparison Kelly, as I've ditched FSX altogether!

Besides, I'm enjoying P3D too much!!
