Darn, if it had been a top five choice vote I would have tossed lots for the T-39 Sabreliner and Lockheed Jetstar. I still remember a Jetstar was started many years ago by a payware team and it never got launched.
 
The ones I want to vote for, for CaptainSim to do, are not on the list...those being a new FSX/P3D native Yak-3, a Yak-9, and/or a Yak-11...and they have a bunch of Ilyushin types listed, but not the Il-2 or Il-10?

There's a highly detailed systems simulation of the Tu-144 available as freeware already...fyi... :)

Regarding the poll...
I suspect that they'll go with a jetliner of some sort once the wider FS community catches wind of this poll. Likely a Boeing or Airbus type since that's what the vocal groups at most other sites want, but I certainly hope that whatever they choose is unique and/or obscure.
 
How about they fix stuff that never got fixed or was completely finished? Wep X, KC-767 all had reported problems but were never addressed.

Yes Sean is right, we must brace for something like this (1970's 747-100). It's quite nice though, if done right....

But here at SOH we'd rather have something more hairy, like the Tu-95 Bear (below)... or some big Antonov or Ilyushin

Anyway it's a nice move from Captain Sim, they sure got everyone attention!

But remember CS is based in Kiev, and in Ukraine these days, what's coming from the East is not always welcome, Bears, or little green men... No wonder there is mostly Boeings and Western aircrafts in the CS catalog...
 
An FSX native update from their Yak-3 would be very nice.
A Mig- 3 would be very nice as well.
And to complete the list an Il-2 Sturmovik

Just one of this list would make me already very happy......

Indeed, an updated YAK-3 for FSX would be most welcome.

Pity it's not on the list! :frown-new:
