• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

UK Disk arrived this morning

I must say that what OVS and Winder claimed about the scalability of the graphics is true. I have told Avangate to deliver the DVD at my office. It is the best way to ensure that it is not lost. I had CFS3 and OFF P2 installed on my old work laptop (A four year old IBM T42 with 1.8 Centrino, 1GBRAM and 64MB ATI9600 card). So I immediately slid in the DVD and advised it to upgrade my install. All went smoothly and my P2 graphics settings were kept the same, including all the overrides. It worked great and with the same settings I have the same performance and it looks so much better than P2.

I can't wait to get back home and install it on my home PC and see it with full settings and AA, AF maxed out.:jump:

Mine arrived too but the b****y thing doesn't work!!!!!!! :censored:

Twelve days of waiting and then I get a faulty disk, just my luck.

Mine arrived yesterday - Installed onto Vista64 - patched and running - All Ok - took 15 minutes :wiggle:

Yeah - ordered mine in the evening of the day of release, so 11 days inc weekends.
 
Lol, was just going to embarrassedly admit I don't have a clue when it was released, but 11 days gives me the gen. Thanks chaps. :)
 
Yes those are both Dietz's work.

He's the best there is, and a heck of a nice guy as well. :) I've had the pleasure, if not privilege of talking to him on more than a few occasions. The first one being when I used his artwork on my Hell's Angels site without his permission. He was really cool about it, and simply said, 'if you're non-profit, then I'm OK with it, just give me credit'. Which I promptly did. :)
