Will Your Games Run on Windows 7?

Installed Windows 7. Getting ready for RTW I decided to try it out.

x64 version gave my machine nothing but troubles. Server service was stuck in 'Starting' mode. Made accessing HDs reallll slow.

x32 bit however has been a blast!

I am replying via the new OS right now.

Some initial findings with x32 version.

Flying the trike out of SeaTac.

FSX original install: 13.8 -14.6 fps with blurries.

FSX with Acceleration installed: locked @ 20 fps and it is solid.

:woot:

Installing REX right now.... will post more later.

LOL Windows 7 is the equivalent of building a new tower on the foundations of the leaning tower of pizza but only 10 time higher :D

http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,2845,2339538,00.asp <<<<< this doesn't look good for the flight community. The game Allied Forces crashed and locked the system up when you left the cock pit.

Allied Forces is a very old game engine even though certain tweaks have been made to bring into the 21st Century. However I was able to run Allied Forces in Windows SP2 compatibility mode which Windows7 does allow and the only thing I couldn't do was run the full menu without tweaking it. I also ran FSX without any issue at all in 32 bit a lttle higher fps. Again, it is a beta for look and feel not a full version for gaming. I am surprised it worked as well as it did...Vista leaked betas hardly worked with any games.
