• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

i had had a problem with my new PC about a month ago now, then FSX wouldnt work right,so i tried to delete it through CCleaner, but it came up and told me it wasnt possible to delete, not those words ,cant remember what it said now,,but id given up for awhile, the folks are really sick,so ive been trying to help them.

i tried yesterday to reinstall FSX and i just get a message that says "the program cannot be installed due to an error" or simular...bottomline..the darn thing wont install..what do i look at in the registry to delete? ive done registry work for a long time and im pretty good at it...but some times theres just a line (?) with numbers..and if you dont know what you are looking for..ya wont find it...

thanks Dave

Go to the IOBIT website and download their free Power uninstaller.

Run it and let it do a complete uninstall(regestry)

Dave, don't forget to uninstall your addons too! I mean clean the registry of all addons. iobit and ccleaner will let you do that. You have the option to delete (registry entry) and uninstall.

keep us posted my friend!
