For those of you who care, I am back after a short time away from home. Had to take care of work stuff, and personal issues. Came home the other night, and tried to fly a hop from Chicago to JFK. The iqao for Chciago wasn't even in FSX's flight planner! No was JFK's. What the!? I was missing tons of airports. Tried to repair fsx with my disks, no luck. I had no choice but to uninstall then resintall everything. Soooo now I am back online with FSX/Accelerator. And for those of you who have pm'd me... check your inbox! :)

Missing airports, I have found, are a symptom of scenery.cfg
corruption/errors.

I have several scenery.cfg files tailored for various areas
of the world that exclude enabling scenery not present
in the area in question.
I occasionally forget to swap in the correct scenery.cfg file
for a given area and find myself with a situation similar
to what you describe above.

IMO, reinstallation should be the LAST option, after all
other paths have been followed. The first being posting
your symptoms here and other forums :)

Well I didn't know what else to do. How ticked off do you think I was to leave with everything working perfect to come home flip the pc on and to find that the state of California only has FOUR airports total in it!?!?!? Yeah, something was happening and I didn't like it. It worked fine before I left, and nobody has been here. So I am baffled. Also, I haven't downloaded any scenery files in a while.

And to those of you who care... thanks.
