Dasuto247,

1) No apologies necessary. I just want to try to conserve library space. Just make sure if you are doing missions in the same area, that you try to combine the packages to conserve space.

2) You are free to upload any mission package that you like to. I was just letting you know what was already done, so that you can try to avoid trying to reinvent the wheel.

I will do that, like said was just posting as finish missions.I just decided to start saving missions I create for myself instead of deleting them. I will wait and release them as a pack in the future.

Well not trying to reinvent the wheel but with all the new planes, add ons etc so many possibilities may not have been when previous were released.

Actually the main mission builders for CFS2 do update their Missions/Campaigns as new stuff comes out.

Rami updates his all the time to fit new scenery that comes out.

Talon redid his AVG. His Marianas and Leyte even though done 5 years ago are still up to date.He used the donatipnware planes for them after they became freeware.

Battle of the Bismarck Sea originally done about 10 years ago was updated a few years ago to todays standards.

Even today the KM planes are still some of the best around and they came out 10 -12 years ago if not longer then that.

Shadow Wulf updated some of his also.

IMO you should do what you want and enjoy it. Every mission builder develops their own style and as they learn more it gets even better.
 
For those who downloaded my VF42 nission...read this please.

I made a mistake and did not put the Yorktown skins on the planes for this mission. Please download UncleTgt's USS Yorktown Air Group April 42 skin pack. and apply to SBD, TBD and F4F included in pack unless it does not matter to you, then oh well.Enjoy the flight.

For information - If you navigate to the download you can, as the owner, edit & upload a version 2 zip with the correct skins. It's not something many people do, but it's a neat facility to have here.
 
I'm really sorry to be such a PIA dasuto247 but I keep getting a missing "lighthouse_01". I been through every page of the CFS2 sceneries and cannot find it. Could you point me in the right direction so I might fly the VF42 mission?
 
Well wouldn't you know, after I submitted this thread reply, I'd find it. The light house is part of "ETO Inf Pack 01.zip".:stupid:
 
There is nothing wrong with doing the same missions. There were a lot of men serving in WWII. So different view points would be in order. I for one enjoy it. Its what makes CFS2 so great.

I would recommend that - edit the download with the new skins pack or the readme with the link.

No problem.I forgot I had that plane in there(just as scenery at the airfield) Ah will have to double check include everything in future releases.
