A couple of shots from my first test flight!

What a beast! :jump:

EDIT: shots taken in P3D v2.5. I thought I'd better say that!

Indications of the performance FPS wise: I have my sim locked externally at 60 and it never ever drops below 55.

Wow! Superb Gordon. Finally the Tigercat will have the recognition which it deserves. :encouragement:
Marvellous Pics Johan.

Guys,

Any reference pictures of the Tigercat cockpit would be highly welcomed! Jafo? You did a panel for the FS9 Tigerkitty, didn't you?

Cheers,

Johan

And a few shots from the non-polished, non-spinner version

As you can see, Gordon is doing an excellent job on this loveliest of creatures!

WOW! Polished metal and those long, pointy prop spinners make it look like it's ready for racing at Reno. :applause:

I couldn't help but add the Reno spinners. Once I get this model airworthy, I'll put those spinners on the correct model.
They looked so good...I'll admit I jumped the shark a little and put them on the F7F-1.

Going to see a real tigercat today and Paine field Skyfair hosted by the Paul Allen collection FHC. Hopefully the Historic Flight foundations F7F will be flying or at least on display!

Gordon is doing an outstanding job...he really is. Will post a few pics myself when I get a chance ;)

Lucky dog Rick...If you take a camera, get some shots of the inner nacelles, gear, gear doors. Enjoy your day...sounds like big fun.

My Test drive in the F7F

Hey G,

I sent you an email with attached pics of things I noted while flying.

Meanwhile, here is my in flight picture.

Update: Mr. Shupe and the beta team are giving the model a working over. Once I get the basic model dialed in, the other variants will proceed very quickly.

In the real world, there were only two test planes flown in bare metal. All others were Sea Blue or black. There was one F7F-1 flown in the Sea Blue. I've done a basic skin based on some preliminary research. I'm anxious to get to the other variants so we can start seeing some racing skins. They're going to be exceptionally gorgeous.

Prepar3Dv2.5 screen caps. Not re-touched.
