RFN TACAN gauge v4.2 released

A very cool update to the RFN TACAN gauge came out this week.

It has a new "GoTo" feature that allows you to position your aircraft directly to the deck of the carrier. It's a new item in the gauge drop down menu.
By default it will place you in the landing zone (cables area) of the carrier. But you can also create three additional locations to "GoTo" on the deck.
A special tool in the menu helps you configure the additional spots.

You can get it here: http://royalefrenchnavy.perso.sfr.fr/RFN-Creations.htm#Gau

HI, I just converted over to the RFN gauge 4.2,and I am not getting an option to turn the LSO feature on anymore when landing on the CDG with the Etendard IVM and PVI version 1.3 for FSX from the Royal French Navy site, this only seems to happen with this plane.I have had no problems with it up until the 4.2 version of the gauge,Help please. Thanks

You're right! Didn't notice this before!

HI Cees,I figured out what was the problem, look in the Etendard manual under Carrier OPs,and there is is a section explaning that you have to turn on a knob to tac,and VH knob to to green light to make the LSO work, just read it it's in there, sorry for the trouble,I should have ****,again:playful:.Thanks for the answer thou.

I always approach without the LSO 'cause I get a bit nervous with someone yelling 'haut' and 'alignement'!

:biggrin-new:

The language is set to FR or US for each carrier in the xml file. Mind, having him shout "You're drifting right" all the time isn't much better.
