We're only interested in the flight simulator. Nobody cares about the fishing game lol.
Dovetail: What if it had flying fish in it?
)From what I read, they are talking about upgrading and expanding MS FLIGHT for WinX DX12
This would be for PC only - not Xbox....but it seems they want folks to understand that they don't rule out some future xBox port over if there is a demand
If it will be "MS: Flight!" only for DX12 and W10 I will say Thank You and bye bye the new idea.
If it will be "MS:Flight!" with open structure for mods and addons like FSX and P3D and it will include whole World (so only MS:Flight engine)- I can say only YES.
I hope, one day we will see OUTERRA engine in our hobby:

What would *you* do if you had a wagonload of money (pun intended), a floor full of programmers and a ticket to shop around in the abandonned MSFS franchise ? I'd take the dead born MSFlight and unleash the world that was locked up beneath the sorry boundaries of Oahu and small part of Alaska and move on from there.
I have always thought that, next to their FSXSE adventure, that would be DTG's goal. I mean, what else ? Strictly from a virtual flight experience point of view, wasn't MSFlight the best thing since sliced bread ? I truly think it was.
They still won't really let the cat out of the flightbag with this new announcement, understandable because no doubt they'll get bombarded with responses like the two specifically pertaining to it and totally missing the point.
"...built on the foundations of Microsoft’s award-winning Flight technology " is enough for me. ( although i never knew about MSFlight having been award winning...)
Yes everyone should have a second opportunity to get it more wrong.....Na, na, na,..... don't panic, matey
What's wrong with a company having a second go at MSFlight ? A rough diamond ruined by idiotic decisions.
MS Flight was 64 bit, right? Can you confirm that?

According to this post by Roger, MS Flight was 64-bit-only...
