Alternative props, exh effects & dp for Allen's FM-2 Wildcat

A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Effects Add-ons

Description: Alternative blurred propeller textures and a Green Ghost style gauge-controlled exhaust effect for SOH member Allen's Grumman FM-2 Wildcat, developed from the stock F4F-4 Wildcat and The B24Guy's overhaul of the same model.

You can choose among 4 types of propeller discs/blades, either unmarked or Hamilton Standard branded, both in full and broken disc versions.

Besides:

a) the enclosed aircraft.cfg offers exhaust effect triggering and belly landing capability;

b) alternative dp files with stock payloads replaced with Dbolt's Enhanced US Weapons v.2.0 and an extra HVAR salvo payload;

c) stock F4F droptanks replaced with Gramps/Hawkeye's 52 gal. FM-2 droptank;

d) selection of 3 different dp files created to match livery colours with Dbolt's matching HVAR rocket pylons. US 250lb GP bombs replaced with William Dickens' Beau 250lb RAF bombs for British FAA repaints;

e) Green Ghost style gauge-controlled exhaust effect.

So sorry!

Sorry folks, but I left a file out of the pack. :uncomfortableness: :apologetic:

I realised yesterday, too late, that the zip I uploaded does not include the advertised aircraft.cfg with the effect triggering switch and the belly landing entries. I paid so much attention to enter each version of the correct dp file that this one slipped by.

I'll try editing the upload window and re-upload the correct pack. Hopefully it will go through without the need to bother our librarian. Otherwise I'll have to ask Rami to fix it.

I apologise for the inconvenience.

P.S.: I forgot to mention I changed the HVAR firing sequence from outer to inner pair, as it was in WWII. This practice kept external weight changes closer to the aircraft centre of gravity, improving flight stability. Just an extra touch of realism.
