The Ongoing Mystery Aircraft Thread Part Deux.

First flight in 1924. Built for a race in Ohio (plane not from Ohio), but didn't make the start. Last seen around 1925.

The designer's son checking out the cockpit:

That looks like a 'minimalist' cockpit indeed !

Here's one that isn't difficult, but combines two of my favourite types of machine - a floating aggie !

Extra dram with your beer if you can tell me where this one is operating.....

It looks like she's operating from Sardinia!
BG
PS Would that be a modified PZL turbine Dromader?

Well, BG, you get a dram :very_drunk: for Sardegna - you obviously recognised the Moor's Head flag - but it is not a PZL, and, as far as I know (Walter will doubtless keep me right) has no connection with it, other than visual similarity.

But then a lot of ag-planes look similar, don't they ? This one is also about 10% bigger than the PZL.

That's the one, Chris -:icon29:

Here's the original - Sardinian flag but Spanish flag and registration too - some co-operation here ???

Hi Chris:encouragement:
Nice one. I have sofar not encountered a real good quality photo of this prototype/PoC.
The Helio Rat`ler ag-plane which I have seen described as the Model 21A and as H-400 Ag-R. Registration N4405S and first flown 1984/1985.
I donot know how much truth there is in reports that it was certificated? The aircraft apperently had the wings and tail group of a Helio H-291 (Courier 800).

This is the best picture I fiund sofar:

Thank you Chris:encouragement:
Next one is of a familiar configuration. Biplane, open cockpit, radial engine. All you need is to fill in the name.

Mike, thank you for the Rat`ler picture. Had it, but yours is of a much better quality.

Hi Baragouin:encouragement:
Bingo!. I have it as the Gerle Banhidi (Model 13) and attached a picture will full markings. Hope this is a better one than the one you have. Seems the company Model was 13.
There was also a version with a non-radial engine.

Your turn, please

I understand that "Gerle" was produced with a number of different engines, I have in my files the number "12" and "14" with in line engines additionally "11" "13" "15" "16"and "17" with radial engines....
Now are designs acceptable? as I would like to submit the following as the new mystery item.....
Cheers
