Ok, I'll play. Just keep in mind that I've never been much of a screenshot artist.

My current default aircraft, the old now freeware AlphaSim F-80 that I've done a few repaints of and am always tweaking something on to improve it. This is an unreleased paint that I usually fly it in.

AH Seafire in one of Morton's paints. I've flown it around the world in FS. I've always liked Spitfires and naval aircraft. This on is the best of both worlds

Uiver Team DC-2 in a Pan Am paint I did
CalClassic C-46 in one of a bunch of fictional real world paint schemes I did for it and never released.
Virtavia F4D, a new favorite.

Didn't get a screenshot of them, but David Maltby's BAC One-Eleven and Comet 4 along with 727s. Especially the 727-100.

I have about 40+ completed repaints for various aircraft that I never released......kind of a waste of time in retrospect. In any case, my favorite ride has always been the Martin Mars as my family (before I was born) rode on the Martin Mars to and from Hawaii on many occasions. So I have a soft spot for the Martin Mars. Dad told me that they even used JATO/RATO on these aircraft every now and then. What a sight that must have been.

One of my repaints that I never released......"Operation Petticoat".......:biggrin-new:

I can't believe I forgot this one in my earlier post. Gee Bees have been a favorite of mine since I was a kid. And for FS, Wozza's "Z" is hard to beat. It's a handful on landing, but flies great which according to what I've read about the original is correct behavior.

This is a paint that was originally done for the FSX version by Paul Grubich to represent the one at the end of the movie "The Rocketeer" (filename is geebee_z_rocketeer.zip @ FlightSim). I personalized it a bit for our online flights and vintage races (flew the London to Melbourne in it a time or two).

Talking about personal.....

it can hardly get more personal than this. The WBS P-51 with my full first name written on it. Believe it or not, but John told me, he did this paintwork with me on his mind! :encouragement:

Staying on the subject of Mustangs, the first P-51 that I flew in, way back in June 1992 was 44-72773/G-SUSY, owned then by Paul Morgan. Red Letter Day as also flew his T-6G in the afternoon. For ages been interested in obtaining a sim P-51 that featured the same scheme and so this Xmas purchased the A2A example, after being helped along the way by a number of individuals (you know who you are!) in sourcing those Memphis Belle colours. Not only that, but there is also available its current colours too. Now a very happy chap. Just have to turn up the speakers as was SO LOUD in the real thing. Could never understand how those young men went all the way to Berlin and back with just a cloth headset on.

Ho to all ! Just a c ouple of questions to satisfy my curiosity :
How many time do you spend (average) every day for FS?
Usually I spend a little more than 1 hour a day without using it on
saturday and sunday. Sometimes I feel like I haven't still found the right plane to fly...
2nd question (for Mister Man Kees) : do you have any plan to
make a repaint for AH B17? Happy NY to all :very_drunk:
 
Well time wise can vary from as little as fifteen minutes to all night once (simulating a C130 Flight from NZ to the Antartic) but generally depends on what I am doing, I try to recreate a lot of historical flights or operations to see what it looked like and felt, no shortage of great aviation stories to recreated. I guess these are the aircraft I have done the most time in and fly regularly.

Its my third version already. The first one done by you for the FS2004 Alphasim P-51 (great pilot for those days!).



The second one was done by Jan Kees for the A2A WWII fighters P-51D both for the FS2004 version (1024x1024) as for the FSX version (2048X2048)



And the last one done by John for the Warbirdsim Little friends package.

T-6 as many of you will have guessed is my all time favourite aeroplane and here we have two that have flown in. David Gilmour's ultra rare SNJ-7C and the Sywell based T-6G in her old Haitian colours.



Another of Mr. Gilmour's aeroplanes flown in was the Beech Staggerwing G-BRVE. Wonderful aeroplane, so full of character, but never liked the way it bounced on landing, with that coiled sprung undercarriage.



2nd favourite type and I can't say why (must have been a picture in a book when was a child) is the Boulton Paul Balliol. Here we see the Sea Balliol variant with the crew having tea and cakes at Bowerman. Originally a FS2004 model, built by David Molyneaux, Brian Horsey and myself. Also helped Ito San with his version.



Three of the best. Dave Garwood's Auster and Rapide and Rick Piper's Chipmunk. All three here are painted to represent aircraft flown by the Classic Air Force and were for a public simulator that I created. Now all gone, aeroplanes and sim.

My personal ride for the past 6 months or so since I started flying on FSEconomy has been N85AL, a Grumman Goose in (usually) Air Catalina retro livery, which I fly mostly in California currently. I use the OZx and other mods listed in my signature, and the beautiful livery (among others) made by 'jankees' can be found here.

The force (torque) is strong in this one.................

Another repaint which hasn't made it to the library. But I love to fly (or should I say fight) the Avia S-199.

Always careful with the throttle and make sure you have enough speed!

LOL, That's me and my Gee Bees all the way.

Working on a new personal ride Warwick Carter FSX Gee Bee Z as part of my learning how to do layers. This one, I went all the way back to the base paint and am totally redoing everything (including new fictional color scheme). I'm going for all the eye-candy I can think of to put in it.
