A repaint of Gramps' Gmax conversion of Mike Wholaver's CFS-2 Seversky P-35A. This P-35A, impressed from a Swedish order, belonged to the U.S. Army Air Forces' 17th Pursuit Squadron, 4th Composite Group, based at Nichols Field, Luzon, Philippine Islands in 1941. It was flown by the squadron commander and the first American ace of the War, Lt. Boyd D "Buzz" Wagner. The double fuselage stripe indicates that the plane was assigned to the squadron commander.
