This is a repaint only for the WWII Fighters Mitsubishi Zero. This repaint represents the A6M2 Model 21 on display with the Fargo Air Museum. The aircraft, while mostly a replica, first began construction after the recovered portions of A6M2 AI-I-129 were purchased by the 'Blayd Corporation'. Blayd used these parts for making patterns which were then used to recreate the original parts. As the aircraft neared completion it was handed over to Gerry Beck's Tri-State Aviation in which Gerry's team finished the restoration, primarily with the engine, instruments, and hydraulics. The aircraft was first flown in the summer of 2005.
This texture was created mainly with the use of Martin Catney's excellent repaint kit. This repaint is a highly updated version of my original, and can be freshly installed or installed over the original.
