A skin for Milton Shupe's Beech D18 Twin Beech in the old Army Air Corps blue fuselage yellow wings & tail livery, as it appeared in 1939 in a pre-delivery factory photo published in an old AAHS Journal. Since the Air Corps was only using that color scheme on trainers and amphibians by 1939, we can only wonder whether it entered service in these colors, or if the Army made Beechcraft strip it to bare metal, the finish then specified for transports and tactical aircraft. The photo's 1939 date and the painting error suggest that this may have been the very first C-45.
