This Pyramider aircraft belong to 1Lt Bob Sternfels, aka "The Sandman" who took this ship over the Ploesti refineries on 1 Aug 1943. The often published photo of a Liberator clearing some smoke stacks amidst the fire and destruction was this aircraft.
