Paints for Nigel's Avro Tutor.
Avro Tutor Belgian Air force pair
Belgium took 12 model 626 Avro's in service between 1935 and 1940, at the flight school at Wevelgem. Numbered A-1 to A-12 ,they mostly flew with the extra cockpit of the 626 faired over if the photo's are representative. At the outbreak of WW2 ; the surviving ones were handed off to the French authorities, with a few being known to have gone to Vichy french forces in Algeria.
I've done these paints of A-4 and A-1 on the Tutor model as we don't yet have a 626 variant (Nigel was working on that; but he's gone "internet quiet")
A-1 was the only one to wear dark green upper surfaces.
