A skin for Milton Shupe's B-26 Marauder. This B-26C is dressed up a B-26 (no suffix letter) of the 77th Bomb Squadron, 28th Composite Group (later Bomb Group), as it appeared in the spring of 1942 while based at Elmendorf Field, Alaska. The squadron and group would become part of the 11th Air Force when it was established, and it remained in Alaska throughout the Pacific war.
