This file contains alternative textures for the Messerschmitt Bf-109-B C1-D1 by Shessi. Among other locations, this package can be found here: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforum...-C1-D1-FS9-zip . For this repaint some parts of the panel lines from the I-L2 templeate by 13_ManOWar were used.
These textures depict the Messerschmitt Bf-109D1, Red 11 from 2./JG 71 as seen at Furstenfeldbruck September 1939. The "running-nose raven", was originally the marking of 2./JG 71 "Chamberlain-Staffel", but became the marking of II./JG 51 Mölders when the group was renamed. After the invasion of Poland JG 71 was moved to Furstenfeldbruck to protect the city of Munich in case of an attack. In October 1939 the unit became part of JG 51.
These textures didn't harm me, my dog nor my computer, but the use of these textures is as always, entirely at your own risk.
