Grafton Underwood was the first station in England to receive an Eighth Air Force flying unit. It was also the first base from where a USAAF heavy bomber operation was launched to Rouen, 17 August 1942. From June 1943 to June 1945, the 384th BG with B-17s, flew (approximately) 320 missions from Grafton Underwood before moving to France. Afcad and AI traffic file that uses the excellent repaints done by Chuck Lawsen: "Blinkin' Betsy" and "Sugar Puss", are included. Enjoy. Cees Donker
