This repaint depicts the Messerschmitt Bf 109 E-1, W.Nr.6294 of 7./ JG 26 flown by Uffz. Karl-Heinz Bock 'White 2', the Bf 109 E-1 of Uffz. Karl-Heinz Bock of JG 26 was forced to make a wheels-up landing at Broomhill Farm, Camber, near Rye after experiencing engine trouble during a freie Jagd over the London area on the afternoon of 17 September. Like many E-ls of the summer battles, the aircraft had been fitted with the later style of canopy. Enjoy!
