This file contains alternative textures for the Douglas A-20G Havoc by by Milton Shupe, Tom Falley, William Ellis, Roman Stoviak, GLH with original Pilot figures by Jan Visser and Bill Ortis (mod'd).
The textures depict the Douglas A-20G "Queen Julia" of 646th BS, 410th BG, 9th AF, USAAF. The repaint shows the aircraft as it looked in summer 1944, short after the D-Day landings, when the aircraft was stationed at Wethersfield UK.
The repaint is based on the excellent paintkit by William Ellis, which was converted for PSP7 by Steve "Stalin" Baldwin.
As there are only black and white pictures available of this aircraft the background clour of the Queen Julia logo is unknow. Although a Dark Sea Grey background seems the more logical colour, it could also have been signal red. I have included an alternative texture for those who want to fly it with red logos.
Enjoy,
Huub
