his is a repaint only for the WOP P-51D and WWII Fighters P-51D. This aircraft was built under license by Cavalier in 1967 and delivered to the US Army. In 1976, it moved to the RAF Museum and was restored but was returned to the USAFM. In 1982, the aircraft was obtained by the Minnesota Air National Guard base at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, finished restoration and put on static display. The colors the airplane is displayed in represent the 109th Air Guard unit, which operated the Mustang after WWII as a tactical fighter and later in air defense from its base in St. Paul.
