This repaint with supplementary texture detailing is for the SECTIONF8 North American F-86E/F Saber (sf86ef.zip). Still in excellent flying condition, F-86F-30, S/N 52-4986, C/N 191-682 was built by North American Aviation in Inglewood, California and delivered to the USAF in September 1953. Dropped from USAF inventory in 1959, it is now owned by The Warbird Heritage Foundation a not-for-profit museum located in Waukegan, Illinois, USA. The purpose of the Foundation is to preserve its aircraft in permanent flying condition to demonstrate them at air shows and special events to promote public interest in historic military aircraft.
