his F3F-2 (BuNo 0989) was used in the 1941 movie "Dive Bomber", where it crashed killing the hero, Lt. Cmdr. Joe Blake, played by Fred McMurray. In reality, the F3F ended its career at the Naval Technical Training School in Jacksonville, Florida. The repaint is for the Aeroplane Heaven freeware F3f-2 for FS2004/2002 found at their website.
