Version 3 of this kit fixes a flaw in the previous version. It will change the colors of the insides of the canopy frames, the main instrument panel and the center console from gray to black in both the 2D panel and the VC, to match the Navy's interior color standards in effect during the F7F's service life, and as shown in period photos of F7F cockpits. This enhanced version includes an additional file required to complete the job for some versions of the model.
