Jarink was kind enough to send me his layered photoshop files of the Noseart that I used for these repaints. I also used his repaints as a guide for my repaints. This texture represents "Lil 8 Ball" from the 709th Bomb Squadron, 447th Bomb Group. These were all delivered to the 447th in spring of 1944 and, incredibly, all survived only to be scrapped at Kingman, Az. L'il Eight ball was one of the 447th's "Century Ships" (completed at least 100 missions).
