This set includes nine repaints for David Wooster's Boeing P-26 Peashooter for FS9 and Golden Wings. The 17th Pursuit Group (later redesignated as the 17th Attack Group) based at March Field, California, was one of the earlier operators of the P-26 and flew it in both the early livery with olive drab fuselages and the later livery with light blue fuselages adopted in May, 1934. Their livery featured the gaudy fuselage flashes that have been associated with the P-26 ever since. This set includes two planes from each of the 17th Group's three squadrons (34th "Thunderbirds," 73rd "Bear" and 95th "Kicking Mule"), plus two planes from the Group Headquarters Flight, one of each with olive drab and blue fuselages. This is one of several texture sets that depict the P-26 in a variety of the markings it wore during its long service with the U.S. Army Air Corps and the General Headquarters Air Force.
