This aircraft was one of several Hungarian Bf-109's that flew from Zeltweg to Neubiberg airfield in Germany on the 8th of May, 1945, in company with Luftwaffe aircraft of II/JG 52, to surrender to the American forces rather than surrender to the Russians.
