This package contains a repaint for the FS2004 model of the Fokker D.VII by Stuart Green. The repaints shows an aircraft from Jagdstaffel 2, also known as Jasta Boelcke.
The pilot of this aircraft is unknown, but the aircraft carries the typical black and white markings used by Jasta 2. Jasta 2 became the second-highest scoring fighter unit (behind Jasta 11). It ended the war with 23 aces among its ex- and current members, a total of 336 victories and a casualty list of only 44; 31 killed, 9 wounded, 2 prisoners of war, and 2 killed in accidents.
I want to thank Stuart Green for this beautiful and timeless model and making it available for us less talented. I also want to thank the members in the FS2004 forum at Sim-Outhouse or their encouraging words, in particular Martin Klein for testing similar textures at the CFS2 model. And finally I want to thank Martin Wright for his graphic tools which were used intensively to convert these textures in a usable format.
