This is the last of my Sikorsky H-34 / S85 Collection.
It shows the last versions flown by the German army, airforce and navy also by the Royal Netherlands Navy.
This version has a larger landing gear and a winch at the starboard side.
Based on a rare version made by Willy Vervaecke, it has been remotorized by Benoit Dube with a big radial piston engine. The VC is now active due to the help of Martin Klein.
I just than assembled all and did the cockpit layouts and some of the needed gauges
This bird demands a bit more sensitive at the controls but makes a lot of fun once you have understood this venerable old lady.
