  • Special Server Maintenance

Just when you think you have everything running some what better...

You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.

    1. November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
    2. November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
    3. November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
    4. November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.

If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.

To keep you updated Tom Clayton has offered to post updates on AVSIM forums.

    Thank you for your support.

FSX/P3D Blackburn Beverley 2026 Update

FSX/P3D Blackburn Beverley 2026 Update 2026-09-24

No permission to download
The Blackburn Beverley was a medium-range high-capacity transport. Its first flight took place in June 1953 and a total of forty-seven were built. The plane could carry loads of up to 22 tons and, aided by powerful propeller reversing and a sturdy fixed undercarriage, it was able to land and take off at small and makeshift airstrips. Employed on a wide variety of military and humanitarian missions, for the ten years of its active service it was the RAF's proverbial no-nonsense workhorse. The revised models come with a GCA-capable VC, variable intensity cockpit lighting, prop reversing, and optional paratrooper and pallet drop setups. Also included are two original liveries: XB261 representing the third production aircraft operated by A&AEE Boscombe Down, and XM109 as painted in the Middle East camouflage scheme of the final batch. All previous repaints can freely be added to this package. Models and textures by Manfred Jahn, flight dynamics by Wayne Tudor, and soundset by Ted Wolfgang.
