This is a standalone package that allows FSX and P3D simmers to fly the C-47 as a GCA calibrator plane and test "talk down" approach procedures to any of the simulator's registered airports. The legacy C-47 exterior model now has an improved beacon light, new exhaust flames, and a more detailed cargo bay. The main change to the VC is a custom GCA/autopilot gauge that replaces the former Garmins, New camera views have been defined and linked to hotkeys F9-F12. A 4-page PDF manual and a setup cheat-sheet is included in folder DOC, and both of these should be studied carefully. Three (previously published) textures have been added for good measure - one is a 1960's AACS (Airways and Air Communications Service) Calibrator, another is a camouflaged Vietnam era "Seagoon", and a third is the well-known German Air Force navaid Calibrator (still extant today as a museum exhibit). Model and GCA code revisions by Manfred Jahn, sounds and effects by Ted "Tufun" Wolfgang.
