This is a repaint for the GAS NAF N3N-3 Floatplane. When I was searching for photos of the actual aircraft I came across a beautiful color photo of the "Yellow Peril" landing in the Severn River across from the U.S. Naval Academy. Immediately I noticed that the U.S. Insignia was "post-WWII" its use beginning in 1947. I did further research and discovered that it was used at the Academy until 1959.
Opened up the paint program and I started repainting and here is the result I am sharing.
