Part Three of the Granville Brothers Gee Bee Package. The Gee Bee Model Q was built to explore the flight characteristics of the canard configuration (forward elevator.) It was constructed from the remains of a wrecked Aeronca and was claimed to have been built in about a week at a cost of around $500. First flown on or about December 1, 1931, the Ascender crashed in a low-level spin on January 1st, 1932, injuring Mark Granville, and was scrapped. See Parts One and Two for Springfield Airport and the Gee Bee Model R Super Sportster. Built in FS9/GW3 but should work in FSX. By David Wooster and Mick Morrissey.
