This is a repaint only for the Hawker Sea Fury RenoRacer 'Miss Merced' by David Hanvey and Paul Barry (sfrel7.zip). This aircraft,owned by Sandy Thomson of Hamilton, Ontario, is a converted T Mk.20 to FB.11configuration, originally manufactured in 1954. As all military equipment isabsent from the restoration, Sandy has chosen to leave the paint scheme without military markings, which also allows for a very clean appearance. The powerplant was changed out during its long term restoration, from the originalCentaurus engine, to a Wright R-3350, similar to the type used on the Skyraider.The aircraft is operated both as a warbird with the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and as a personal transport.
