This is a repaint for the beautiful Aeroplane Heaven/Just Flight Spitfire Mk IX as you will find it in the Mid-war Merlin set. You need to have a legal copy of this set to be able to use this repaint. The repaint depicts Spitfire 69 from the Israeli Air Force. The IAF was able to purchase a large amount of Spitfires from the Italian Air Force. These Spitfire were easy to recognise because of the anti glare panel. The 63 belonged to 105 "scorpion' Squadron which was founded in 1950 and still exsist. The squadron in now flying F16s from Hatzor Air Base. Enjoy, Huub Vink Sim-Outhouse August 2008.
