Another paint for Nigel's Avro Tutor,
This time dressed as one from Japan @ 1934
As far as we can ascertain (the WWW being what it is) this paint represents (based on atypical Japanese forces schemes of the time) a Tutor which was purchased by the Japanese military mission after the Aviation Hall in Paris - where it made a sensation - for comparative purposes with similar Japanese machines and the possibility of license production by the Yokosuka plant.
The contract did not come to fruition and the aeroplane, which went to one of the pilot schools in Japan, was later broken up and scrapped.
