This repaint is for the new (2008) Payware FS9 version of Alphasim's F-105D, you must have this aircraft installed to use these textures. These textures represent an F-105D Thunderchief of the 421st TFS/388th TFW, Korat RTAB, Thailand, 1966. The significance of this aircraft lies in it's pilot, Lt. Karl W. Richter. At the time of his death, Lt. Karl Richter had flown more missions over North Vietnam than any other pilot. Officially credited with 198 missions, examination of flight records after the war brought his total to 203.
Note: THis now includes an update: After my upload, new information was found that cast doubt on the identity of Karl Richter's F-105. This update supplies a Tail_t.bmp with the correct serial number.
